Log baskets are one of those household things that are really a necessity, if you want to bring your firewood into the home. We carry a range of baskets, but have recently discovered a very talented lady weaver in Devon, who is able to make us, or more to the point, you, beautiful bespoke artisan baskets. Each basket will be inherently different, each strand of the finest Somerset willow a slightly different colour, and as unique as the home in which it will finally rest.
The baskets are incredibly rugged and strong and built for a lifetimes use. The round basket featured here costs £85 and will hold enough logs to keep your fire burning for every evening of the week. It is a one off purchase and we think in real terms a bargain as its’ true value is measured by the price divided by the amount of use this basket will have.
If you have a space that you want to fill with a log basket, or just a basket as a decorative item, because these are really a fabulous way to add to the character of any room, we can have a log basket made to suit – you may be surprised that a bespoke especially commissioned basket isn’t as expensive as you would believe. The log baskets will also make a brilliant gift – something to put on your wish list, or to give to the couple that has everything, except a handmade finest Somerset willow log basket!
