On Saturday 29th June we took a trip over to the Bulworthy Project, a project based in Devon experimenting in low-impact living and working supported by making charcoal and providing charcoal making courses.
The day was full of good surprises, and thoroughly enjoyable, and at some point in the future we will sit down and regale you with the whole process of charcoal making from start to finish but in the interim, we felt it important to let you know that we now stock & sell bags of charcoal produced by The Bulworthy Project
Charcoal making is something we may consider for the future using our own wood fuel, but the course has taught us it is a skill to be mastered, and for the time being we have decided to leave it to the experts. The charcoal is everything it says on the ‘tin’, local, sustainable, no additives & top quality.
We can either deliver your charcoal as part of a log or log store order, or of course you can collect at the yard,
The charcoal is sold in bags of approx 2.5 kilos at a cost of £6.00 per bag
